Just like Doutzen a few posts below, Demi Moore has been looking thinner these days – here she is in a red dress that shows off her skinny frame at the screening of “Margin Call” held at the Sunshine Theater in New York.
Demi Moore looked alarmingly frail leaving a Los Angeles nail salon this weekend, as it seems as if carrying the burden of husband Ashton Kutcher’s affair is taking its’ toll on her.
On Body Image: “I have had a love-hate relationship with my body. When I’m at the greatest odds with my body, it’s usually because I feel my body’s betraying me, whether that’s been in the past, struggling with my weight and feeling that I couldn’t eat what I wanted to eat, or that I couldn’t get my body to do what I wanted it to do. I think I sit today in a place of greater acceptance of my body, and that includes not just my weight but all of the things that come with your changing body as you age to now experiencing my body as extremely thin – thin in a way that I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, ‘You’re too thin, and you don’t look good.’”
“She collapsed after having an epileptic seizure,” the source said about the frightening medical emergency.
After her split with Ashton Kutcher, Demi has been seen skinnier than ever – some fear she’s become anorexic. Even the source believes anorexia is one of the causes for her collapse.
“Demi is in getting treated for anorexia, as well as other issues that caused her seizure,” the source said.
“She has not taken care of her health at all lately and has lost a ton of weight.”
A healthy-lookin’ Demi Moore touched down in L.A. on a private jet last night … the first time she’s been seen in public since her whip-it induced medical emergency back in January … and TMZ has the pics.
A DESPERATE NEED
“She’s feeling really abandoned and what she needs more than anything is to feel loved,” one insider tells OK!. “But it seems the only form that love is taking right now is sympathy — so Demi is kind of courting that. The fact that she’s so skinny has everyone clamoring around her and that’s the only comfort she has right now.”
“Demi hasn’t sat down and had an actual meal since this whole thing started,” the insider adds. “She’ll make a salad, and try to eat it, but she’ll wind up having a few bites and then putting it back in the fridge. When she does eat, it’s some kind of sugary snack, like a cookie or something. Most of the time, she’s so sick to her stomach, the last thing she’s thinking about is food.”
Concerns over her health were raised after she shed weight in the wake of allegations her husband had cheated on her. But it appears Demi Moore is in need of an energy boost after Ashton Kutcher has found himself embroiled in yet another scandal. The actress, 48, was seen clutching an energy drink and appeared extremely tense as she stepped out in Beverly Hills today.

Attending the Cinema For Peace event at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, with her daughter Rumer Willis, her legs and arms looked especially small in comparison. Rumer herself is a very fit and trim young lady, while mom Demi looks considerably thinner next to her.
“It’s common treatment practice at Cirque to not allow patients that are being treated for an eating disorder to see how much they weigh when they step on the scale. Their weights are taken everyday, sometimes several times a day to make sure that they aren’t losing weight while in treatment. Doctors at Cirque don’t want patients to fixate on their weight.
“Demi isn’t being forced fed or chastised for not wanting to eat. The counsellors at Cirque are working on giving Demi a safe and controlled environment, she is getting the best care possible. She is also dealing with an addiction to prescription medication, and she has a comprehensive team taking care of her.”
